Dorina Clichici is senior scientific researcher at the Institute for World Economy, where she works since 2016. She has graduated from Finance Department of the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova (AESM). He attended the master’s program in Finance at AESM and the master’s program in Philology (American Studies) at the State University of Moldova. She obtained his Ph.D. in Economics in 2007 from the University “L.Blaga” of Sibiu (Romania). She has more than 10 years of experience in teaching and scientific research at AESM, the Institute of Political Studies and International Relations (Republic of Moldova) and at the National Institute for Economic Research (NIER) of the Academy of Science of Moldova. She participated as a member in the committees for bachelor exams and undergraduate thesis, in the Specialized Scientific Council for doctoral thesis at the AESM, in the Profile Scientific Seminar of the NIER of the Academy of Science of Moldova (2014-2016). In addition, since 2015, she is a reviewer of the journal “Financial Studies” of the Centre for Financial and Monetary Research “Victor Slăvescu” of the NIER “Costin Kiriţescu” within the Romanian Academy. Her areas of research are: international investment, financial stability, corporate governance issues in banking systems, European economic integration.
Dorina Clichici is the author and co-author of a large number of monographs, studies and scientific articles. The most relevant research papers are: Problems of approaching the industrial policy in the modern world (co-author of the book, IEFS Printing House, Chisinau, 2007, 268 pages), International Investment (co-author of the book, PIM Publishing House, Iasi, 2008, 352 pages), Harmonization of economic, financial and social mechanisms in the European integration process (co-author of the book, IEFS Printing House, Chisinau, 2009, 248 pages), Financial stability of the economy in transition (co-author of the book, NIER Printing House, Chisinau, 2015, 416 pages), The determinants of banking system vulnerability in the Republic of Moldova (article, 2013), Implications of the financial crisis on the soundness of the banking system in the Republic of Moldova (article, 2015), Volatility of cross-border financial flows and policy responses (co-author of the article, 2017).
