Simona Zamșa

She has graduated from the Faculty of Economic International Relations, within The Bucharest University of Economic Studies, the World Economy section, in 1997. Upon completion, she was hired at the Institute for World Economy (IWE) and, chronologically, worked in the following sectors of IWE: Food Products and Structural Changes in the Global Economy. She is a Scientific Researcher since 2011 and she is associated with the Sector of Structural Changes in the Global Economy since 2015.

During her scientific activity, she has contributed to numerous studies, syntheses, articles, as author or co-author. Within IWE, she regularly contributes to many studies regarding raw materials, as author or co-author such as: Trends and perspectives on the main international commodities markets and currency markets, weekly conjunctural synthesis; The Commodity Markets Section, Part II of IWE annual publication  „Global Economic Studies”, 2011-2016 ; The Commodity Markets Section, Part II, IWE weekly bulletin „International Market”; bi-weekly „Bulletin on prices and quotations”, studies concerning the main global markets of raw materials.
